jolly? because of christmas parties, bonus and gift giving.....

Just had our Christmas Party last Friday. The party was ok though the food sucks. Our department won the much awaited presentation (didn't join, had enough embarassing experiences this year). It's the company's tradition to embarass their employees every Christmas Party by forcing them to come up with a Xmas presentation...hehe. This year's theme was "gypsy". It was fun though, watching people dress up and dance or sing or act or embarass themselves altogether. And you get to see the new faces since most of those obliged to join by their managers were the new hires, kind of like an initiation...hehe. Only two good things came out of it. I got a nice shawl from our exchange gift and some of us got to stay overnight in a five star hotel (that was a complimentary room since we rent  two of the hotel's ballroom).

I haven't started shopping for Xmas presents. I don't have the time and the budget. Gave my mom half of my 13th month pay and the half...well, I honestly don't know where it went. All I know is that now, I'm broke. Not to be the Grinch here but Christmas really is the most expensive holiday of the year.
