"Love makes the world go round? Not at all. Whiskey makes it go round twice as fast."
Stress-free week...
It's been four days now since my boss got confined in the hospital. Four days of slacking around. Don't get me wrong, I don't wish him to get sick. Actually, I got sad when I visited him in the hospital and found him alone in his room with dextrose in his arm and an oxygen tube in his nose. I think he'll be released today. I wish he'd get better even if it means I have to work hard again in the office...hehe.
At least, for a almost a week, I was stress-free. I got to finish the eBook I was reading. It was good, "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. The same author of the very controversial "Da Vinci Code". Both books are pretty interesting. Dan Brown is a great conspiracy theorist. Altough the plot of the two books are quite similar, I can't stop myself from reading the books. I'm always wondering what's the next famous artwork, or historic place, or well-known personality he would mention. The artworks he mentions always bring back memories of my Art Studies classes during college. The famous "Last Supper" painting and "The Ecstasy of St. Therese" sculpture were given a new meaning. It's amazing how Dan Brown can maliciously give meaning to these artworks and interconnect them with his fictional story and characters.
