1. First and foremost, Thirteen month pay! (I even thought of having a countdown, not to christmas, but towards our thirteen month pay) Katching! Katching!

2. Lotsa Food! (Forget about diets and calories, welcome the season with open-mouth)

3. Gifts! (To my friends, bosses and relatives out there, I have a message for you: "It's better to give than to receive". I'll be waiting.)

4. Long weekends! (This year, Dec. 25 falls on a Saturday and definitely, 24 will be declared a non-working holiday. Same thing on New Year but better since Dec. 30 is also a non-working holiday, that's 4 days out of work!)

I can't think of any, let's proceed to

Booooooooo

1. Godsons and daughters. (There goes my 13th month pay.)

2. Panic buying. (Don't get me wrong, I love shopping but during holiday season, malls are extra packed hence pickpockets are everywhere.)

3. Metro Manila Film Festival. (Finally, you have the time to see a movie but all you can choose from are films about superheroes and Chinoy families)

4. Finally, being single equates loneliness. (Well, at least that's what most people think. Suddenly, your loneliness is multiplied a dozen times just because you don't have that 'special someone' to accompany you during Simbang Gabi.)

...and because I'm single, 4:4 -- it's a tie! Christmas or without Christmas, my level of happines would just be the same.
