"Love makes the world go round? Not at all. Whiskey makes it go round twice as fast."

I'm starting to familiarize myself to my new workplace and the kind of crowd here. They all seem to be nice, but still, I'm not that comfortable enough to show them how talkative and active I am. I'm like this, whenever, I'm in a new place or with a new crowd, I tend to be timid, I try to get to know their personality first before I show them the real me. I'm not being pretentious, it's just that I'm afraid I might say something that will offend them or maybe they can't relate to. Once I got to know them a little, that's when I start kidding around. I don't like having this feeling. I hate awkwardness, who doesn't? I like to be comfortable with the people around me. I hope that would happen soon!
