Company Anniversary
Yesterday we celebrated the company's 7th Year Anniversary...For the first time in four months, I actually enjoyed that company event. First, the place was nice, it was held in one of the ballrooms of Dusit Hotel then, we had great food, a buffet style dinner and finally, after the program was ended, a showband played some songs and we got to dance! Their choice of songs were somewhat lame, I think half of the songs were from 80's, sort of ballroom dancing songs, but what the heck! We still danced till our feet ached. We are determined to enjoy the night!
Another "funny" thing, they have this award for Best Dressed and all the nominees were called in front. The contest was a complete "joke" because most, if not all of the nominees were from the HR department and the Executive Assistants to the Partners. It wasn't a surprise since the judges were the Partners...one of the perks for reporting directly to the Big Bosses! hehe.
This Friday, we'll be having our very late, "supposed to be summer" company outing! The place, Splash Island which is so corny because I've been there during our high school fieldtrip! Take note, High School fieldtrip ,so we're compared to teenagers who would enjoy climbing stairs equivalent to four floors just to have a taste of how it feels to slide and dropped on a shallow water..hehe. The idea...not so appealing to me anymore.
