a wedding, a PC and an election
Today is Friday, I'm going on a half day, I will be attending my cousin's wedding, our PC will be delivered, and there will be no work on Monday because that's election day! Definitely reasons to celebrate.
Tomorrow will be my cousin's wedding. It will be held in our province. She's asking me to go there today instead of tomorrow morning. Therefore, this calls for a half day at work. Yehey! She wants me to fit the dress I'll be wearing tomorrow. Scary! She included me in the entourage as one of her bridesmaids and I'm quite scared to see the dress. Usually, bridesmaids have the worst gowns/dresses in the history. They said that was intended just so the bride would be the prettiest girl at the ball...hehe. With or without the ugly-dressed bridesmaids, the bride would still be the prettiest girl in the wedding because it comes in a package, the overwhelmingly happy package (that is if it's not a shotgun wedding). In this case, it's not so she shouldn't worry about her bridesmaids outshining her...I hope the dresses looks good.
About the PC, last Saturday, we ordered computer parts and peripherals to be assembled by my friend. My Mom paid thru check and they said it will be delivered Thursday this week because the check needs to be cleared first, and they have tons of orders scheduled for delivery. Unfortunately, PC Express (the store where we ordered) doesn't live up to its name...My brother called them PC Delayed..hehe. He was so angry when the store called to inform them that the delivery will be delayed one day because their truck was broken. Hopefully, they will deliver the parts today as promised.
Monday is election day! That means it is a non-working holiday and I get to stay one more day in the province with my cousins and my granny....Yehey! I can't vote anyway because I'm not a registered voter. Well, that's another long story. Anyway, I guess it wouldn't make a big difference if I'm not voting since we already know who will win the election. I think this coming election would turn out to be another popularity contest.
