"Love makes the world go round? Not at all. Whiskey makes it go round twice as fast."

On with my story.
The next two days was spent in a beach resort somewhere in Dinggalan, Aurora. We were 17 all in all including the driver and our guardian, the birthday celebrant's mother. The birthday celebrant, my cousin's cousin was the one who planned everything. She was a fickle minded, adventurous person, who seems to have taken too much caffeine since she's so excited and bursting with energy all the time. The caffeine seems to run in their blood since her mother was a nervous wreck...hehe. Nevertheless, we still had fun despite the constant change of plan and constant yelling and nit-picking.

On the first beach that we went to, the water was quite disturbed. It has big waves even on the shore and I'm scared to go too far 'coz I'm not that skilled in any water sports including the very basic of swimming...hehe. We just play along with the waves on the shore till we all had bruises.

During the night, the boys had their own drinking session. Of course, we had our own too! All girls drinking... expect the topic of conversation to be, boys, boys, boys! That is, until Mother Bear arrived...all was again well-behaved. On with the more wholesome topics.

The next day, that was Holy Friday, we went to another beach also in Aurora. It was known as "White Beach" because of its white sand. We took a 30-minute boat ride to get there. Mother Bear was so scared because at first, the boat's motor was always stopping and we were drifting far from the shore plus the fact that we almost overloaded the boat. Still, we managed to arrived at the beach in one piece. I was kind of disappointed with the beach because the sand was not that fine and not that white and the water is not that clean...totally not what I'm expecting! I took a dip and I ended up having itchy, sort of insect bite on my knees.

Tired and dripping wet, we headed home. As soon as we reached home, I took a long bath and slept like a baby. Saturday, I almost slept the whole day and so the whole night, I was awake chatting with my cousin/bestfriend/sister...that's our tradition since we were kids. Everytime we meet up, we end up staying awake all night updating each other what transpired in our lives since the last time we talked. We planned to stay awake and go to church at 5AM to attend "Salubong" (a procession, program and a mass held during Easter Sunday to commemorate Jesus' resureccion ) when the clock hits 5AM. We came close in carrying out the plan. We were able to stay awake, till 5AM and at 5:10 AM, we were sound asleep...

We woke up at around lunch time and we blamed my cousin's older brother for not waking us up and giving us a ride to the church...hehe. Our grannies were laughing at us when they learned about our failed plan.

All things, especially the good ones, must come to an end. For that 5-day long vacation, it ended as soon as I got home that Sunday night and started cooking dinner for me and my brother...
No blahs - blah
